Having just recently seen The Graduate for the first time I was disappointed because up to this point every movie watched in this class has been an impressive and timeless classics. The Graduate just didn’t do it for me. It takes place is the late 1960s with the main characters Ben Braddock, Mrs. Robinson, and Elaine Robinson. Dustin Hoffman takes the role of Ben Braddock, this being one of his fist major roles. The movie is a twist of erotic romance between a confused teenager and his father’s business partner’s women. The movie is known for its outstanding roles and great view on the lost youth of the 60’s. However maybe it’s the time I was born in but I did not enjoy this at all, and thing half the movie was wasted by him moping around.
